The town of Queenstown sits on Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand's southern alps. In winter it has several ski areas but it is also a base for adventure activities such as bungee jumping and jet boating along narrow gorges.
2 of today's photos look across the lake in different directions - the main ones to the west and the WS one to the south east.
Also in the WS is a distinctly summer photo looking towards a beach on the lake.

Beautiful view of the lake with city background. Good combination with sky and clouds. I liked the photo number two of the workshop more. It can be seen well.

This reminds me a bit the Lake District in the UK although the mountains in this photo appear higher.
Nice point of view, the nature so attractive. The clouds made an interesting pattern and luckily they didn't cover the sun.

What a fantastic scenery with the mountains on the other side of the calm lake and underneath the wonderful white clouds. The composition is well-balanced and the colours are pleasant and natural.

I presume these nude mountains are covered with ice most of the year and because this they look so arid during summer. nice details with the lake in evidence. I liked more the last WS. amazing views.
