Someone asked about seals. I hadn't intended posting seal photos from Milford Sound because my photos of them weren't great having been taken at full zoom and then zoomed some more by cropping but here are 2 seal photos, my last photos from Milford Sound. The main one shows several what I assume are New Zealand Fur Seals with a bonus seal gull and there is a WS photo with another 2 seals.

Hello Ian,
I guess this was the closest range possible to see the seals around the rocky slopes in the Milford Sound.
Amazing and rare (For me) animal watching session.

Hello Ian, I do not remember seals from Milford Sound. Maybe there were dolphins but I am not sure. They are so lovely creatures. Beautiful pictures.

Very nice photos even though a close inspection reveals that the sharpness is not as super perfect as in most of your pictures. But the beauty of the seals is not lost. Seeing the WS I'm amazed how they can get up such steep rocks.

Hello Ian,

Yes, your w/s is a little fuzzy, but still interesting but this one is clearer. When wild animals are concerned, we cannot always get as close as we would desire!
I wonder if three of these seals are males, with heads erect, as if calling; something they often do to show their prowess!!
The seagull just doesn't want to listen!!!

Hi Ian,
I always thought about this place rather as a treat for the eyes but I didn't somehow realize that one can enjoy there some encounters with wildlife. Great scenes with seals enjoying the scenery.

Hello Ian, I was surprised to see seals here at this location, I had never heard of seals in Milford Sound before.
It must be difficult moving about on the rocks for the seals.

Hello Ian,
They are quite hard to spot against the rocks here, but the seals are nicely seen nevertheless. Also the bits of green are well included in the background.
