Photographer's Note

During a very warm morning I was walking and enjoying the beautiful village of Cachi when I noticed the woman splashing water with a wooden stick on the dust covered street

It was near midday so people and cars were concentrated on the main square having a drink or lunch

When I asked her why she did it, she answered she did it to avoid dust entering her house
She was using water of a small channel ( acequia ) that goes along the streets to collect water from rains, a kind of construction typical of the North of Argentina
