Back to landscapes!

Stormy weather… or, “the ice of the storm” ;-)

This is a continuation of the previous post on the “Los Galciares National Park” in south Patagonia.

The morning storm did not allow us to get closer to the Upsala glacier, but the combination of rain, a little hail, dark clouds, and from time to time some delicate rays of sunlight gave the icebergs a still deeper blue color.

The tour next stop will be the Spegazzini glacier, and the hope for better weather.

Hi Carlos,

The blue glacier is eye-catching. Specifically it contrasts with grey sky. The picture delivers a sense of calmness. I like it.

that's a heavenly picture! The light, textures and colors are out of this world. I could look at it forever, a mesmerizing sight. But I suspect the weather's not much of a paradise:))

What so impressive is the rich blue colors of the floating ice and contrast to the grey skies. Bit of sun ray draws out a good effect for the whole as well with lovely shades and shadows, a fascinating nature wonder indeed this is a standout shot and great effort. Well done, Congrats.

I looked to the three pictures, I prefer picture "view 2" as the most beautiful.
But also the other pictures are pleasant as ice picture
Sharpness and clarity are pleasant to look at.
Excellent composition.

Hola Carlos,
el fuerte contraste entre la gama de azules del iceberg y los grises del cielo tan nublado crea un efecto fantástico en esta composición, estructurada en base a un eficaz encuadre, que deja un gran espacio a las nubes, y sitúa el hielo azul, el agua y la oscura línea de la costa en la parte inferior, acentuando el grafismo de la foto.
Los WS son dos buenas fotos también, que amplían la información sobre el lugar.

Me gusta mas el WS primero, pero hace tiempo q un español me dijo que nadie los mira
No me interesan mucho las fotos de glaciares, pero esta tiene un colorido con gran contraste que la hace muy atractiva
Muy buena la nota, para los que se interesan en los glaciares

Está excelente! Gosto do contraste entre o céu escuro e os blocos de gelo iluminados pelo sol. As tonalidades de azul estão perfeitas. Muito bem captada!
