A spectacular spectacle, a photo from Misiones, North

Photographer's Note

We were lucky enough to take a holiday to Brazil. Part of the trip was to the Iguazu Falls. We visited the Brazillian side and then had to cross the border to the Argentinian side. Together the falls are the largest in the world. Most of the falls are on the Argentinian side. Composed of many falls and cataracts. It is one of those places which look great in photos but seeing them in reality are quite stupendous.

Hello David,
This is a magnificent view, but I had the same memory from the Victoria Falls that photos can't really capture the physical experience. But you managed a very wide view and it's very sharp and well exposed.

Hello David,
Many years ago I also undertook a trip to Brazil and have also visited the Argentinian side of the famous falls.
The Brazilian side shows a nice general overview, but in Argentina there are many more viewpoints.
Magnificent photo with the mighty falls on different levels.

Wow! I am a little envious because I have yet o visit any part of South America. This looks way more spectacular than Niagara or even Victoria Falls. I like the angled pov showing 2 sides and the wide angled panoramic crop. Tfs!

What a wonderful sight!
The water is cascading from both sides, almost like the land bleeding! (If you see what I mean!)
I can imagine the noise and the thrill which you undoubtedly experienced.
It's a fine well exposed shot.

Hello David, a spectacular shot that looks amazing in the large version.
And what surprises me is that there is water falling to either side of the main falls as well!
Did you get some spray on your lens?
The noise must have been tremendous.

this is part of my state. 400 km from home.
I liked a lot this angle you got, I guess I never had seen it before in a photo, and we see thousands of images from these falls.
at this moment iguassu river is crossing a terrible period of drought and the falls are almost dry.

Hi David.
Great panoramic view of these marvelous falls, this plane shows wonderfully the two slopes where the falls occur, I suppose this view is captured from the helicopter.
Very good color that enhances the composition.
