Cool song choice. My wife and I met him in person years ago backstage at one of his concerts. I must say he's a pretty laid back guy that would do anything for you if asked.

Hello Silvio,
I like this composition very much. It is perfectly balanced through the different fields of dark water, white ice and brown ground. The flamingos are perfectly lined up along the edge of the ice and their pink colour suits their background superbly.

dalle montagne innevate intorno alla laguna mi sembra di capire che siamo a parecchi metri di altitudine; mai avrei immaginato che esistessero i fenicotteri di montagna e questo per averli sempre visti in zone stagnanti vicino al mare (camargue,sardegna).

You used quite a zoom to get this shot! Like the layers created, with difficult exposure well managed, especially on the salt pans. But the highlight has to be the line of the pin flamingos which liven the scene. Well done!

I have the impression that these flamingos are walking on the water.
Attractive composition in horizontal layers having mutually a strongly contrasting colour.
It's such a wonderful, impressive and desolate landscape populated by such beautiful animals.

Hi Silvio,

Yes, the scene is out of this world, it could as well be on the moon with this grayish white landscape. The warm colors of the flamingoes really give great contrast and a sense of warm. Beautiful and spectacular landscape, I feel short of breath just looking at it.
