Photographer's Note
Another (macro) picture from NKMNP. "The park encompasses five important ecosystems ranging from Amazonian rain forest, gallery forest and semi-deciduous tropical forest to flooded savanna and dry cerrado" (adopted from the Park`s website). As a consequence, traveling in the park expose the traveler to an enormous variety of both flora and fauna.
While traveling in the south part of the park we noticed several unique tree species, one of them was covered from top to bottom with sharp spikes, as can be seen in this picture. I opened full aperature and snapped.
PP:A bit of sharpening was applied to the picture.

Hello Chen,
What an amazing macro! Very sharp spikes, expressive and unique! Excellent dof, too. There is only one thing as a suggestion, a little detail: when you sharpen, if you don't wish to sharpen the entire photo, make a new layer, and sharpen that, and then apply layer mask and blacken out the parts that do not need sharpening (such as your blurry background here). That takes care of it! But it is a minor detail. The eye is there, and that is what matters!
