Noel Kempff National Park, on our way to Catarata El Encanto, a 120 meter high waterfall in the middle of the jungle. This was my first foot venture into the deep of a jungle, a one hour and half of walking among deep vegetation surrounding and suffocating the light rays on their way toward your eyes. It can get cool, highly humid, and even walking on the thin path you can stumble and sprawl face down over overgrowing roots hidden among the fast-growing vegetation...You can feel the silence and isolation, though you know everything around you is alive and buzzing silently even when the sun goes down...
