Photographer's Note

Browsing through my photos, I found this shot and decided it should be given a (PP) matured treatment - here is the repost info:
First of all, changed the name (mistakenly I refered to the whole area covered by the Salar tour as the Salar salt flats...what a shamefull mistake...This shot was taken near the a little settlment at the southern-western part of the Bolivian Altiplano.
Secondly, I used Neat Image to clear all the grain I had on this picture.
Thirdly, I sharpened the picture (after Neat Image softened it abit) using USM.
Fourth, I cropped the picture to a similar degree as I did for the original post
Fifth and last, added a suitable frame.

*** Original Post ***

I have saw this little child, maybe 3 years old, playing with the gas canister in a little settlement in the midst of the Salar. He was very curious looking, observing the foreigners jumping out of the worn out jeep, chatting in an unfamiliar language. Cold-burn cheeks and with intense look (and clothes) this little child caught my eye and I quickly snapped a picture, while his mother prepared dinner.
