LA PAZ
La Paz, highest capital of the world
Arriving to La Paz El Alto airport is already an adventure : Twenty eight hours for the transport from Lille (France), while an approaching overflight of 6000m heigh peaks, an aircraft which lowered on a track at 4020m heigh because of low density air, feeling that to lace its shoes is an exploit because of oxygen scarcity. All is said, we are in the administrative capital of Bolivia, one of these cities differents of others. Over the altiplano, El Alto, the La Paz for the poor people, spreads out his million of Indians stripped on a plateau and frozen desert around the airport. By leaving this airport, to join the heart of the city located in a valley which is inserted between the peaks of the royal cordillera towards Amazonia, we drive on an expressway from which this panoramic view of four photos (stitched with Autostitch) was taken. Again more than one million of inhabitants, here lives 28 % of the Bolivian population in a crawling melting pot and an ultrapolluted atmosphere created by vehicles smokes due to the lack of oxygen.

I have rebuilt the pano because it was one my first panoramas and some parts at the left had exposure problems (corrected at PP level). I hope you like it.
