Photographer's Note
This is an internal view of the small chapel. The mass was going to the end and when the priest asked for help of Mary I was moving because the Lady of Fátima is my godmother, it was a moment of intense faith in few seconds while I was alone, my guide was parking.
You can see part of the murals here. The original ones were created my Alfredo Volpi, an Italian walls painter who became one of the most important names of Brazilian modern art. He loved to use Brazilian elements as the flags of Saint John festival, the kites, saints, the colonial houses, etc.. Few time after the murals were covered with ink and during a restore of the building a former disciple of the painter was invited to create something similar. Here we can see The Lady of Fátima with a kite between her hands and the kite has a tail made with spools of thread, the halo of the Mary was made of flowers. In the lateral walls, not visible here, there are some spools of thread.
In the base of altar you can see the tiles of swallows created by Athos Bulcão, similar the ones outside of the chapel.
In the image we can see the traditional image of Mary and the one created by the artist. The priest was surprised when he saw me with a camera in his direction.
You can see a sample of Volpi art in the link bellow:

Hi Jorge,
You have captured the action of the priest and of the parishioners. The point of view is showing the details of the interior of the Lady of Fatima church. The light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Jorge,
An excellent photo of the chapel. The blue of the wall is so beautiful, probably one of my favourite shades of blue. The artwork is wonderful as well, especially the bright green bits and the people in the foreground are also a good addition without blocking too much of the view.

Hi Jorge,
Very nice reportage from a religious event. I like very much the dark blue background here. The colors are so vibrant. The statue of Mary is so popular. The presence of people there adds a nice touch.
Very well done,
