This is "Gema", commmom butterfly this season here in southern Brazil. It is here on a cammelia.
I´ve found this:
Name: Phoebis philea
Family: Pieridae
Commom name in Brazil: Gema
Hostess plant: Cassia siamea

I am interssested with butterflies.
Very sharp and colored shot. It's look like some pieridae in Europa of the colias familly. What is the size of this insect ?

Missed your last few shots...this one's amazing...superb macro shots with amazing details of the butterfly...it has the texture of a leaf. The brilliant colour of the flower contrasts well.
