Monte Verde is a small towm in Minas Gerais. It's a cold place and usually called Brasilian Switzerland.
There are many Araucárias. Araucária is a typical tree of cold regions.
I saw this dry stem and the Araucária at the back side and seems that they were talking.

Hi Fabiola,

This image caught my eye. Nice composition of the old tree, would have been better I think to have the main pine tree in the center of the frame rather than off to the right. Nice blue sky, great contrast with the grey, green and blue.

Bonita imagem, com cores bem fortes! O tronco mais parece uma pedra, acredito que se vc pegasse um pouco do chão ia melhorar a foto.
Tenho bastante vontade de conhecer Monte Verde, dizem que é um lugar muito bonito, e Maromba também!
