15 Years on TE, a photo from Minas Gerais, Southeast

Photographer's Note

It's been 15 years since I posted my first photo on TE, and I decided to celebrate the date with good food made in a hearth, so typical of the countryside of the state of Minas Gerais. In the workshop, a little plate of the "canjiquinha" I made, a kind of ground corn stew also typical of my state.

A little bit of statistics on these 15 years, as can be seen on my maps of TE: 14 countries (all of them Latin American) and 21 Brazilian states (plus the Federal District).

Hello Alexandre,
Congratulations on your 15 years on TE. There can't be many who have remained loyal to the site for such a long time. You celebrate with a nicely original photo. The fire is very well exposed and the large cauldron is beautifully designed. The food looks tasty but it may be too rich in carbohydrates for me...;-)

bela foto do fogão à lenha com o caldeirão de barro. dizem que a comida feita assim é muito mais saborosa. o fogão foi bem modernizado e até parece obra modernista. lembro dos fogões de lenha aqui da minha terra, bem rústicos. quando era moleque eu ajudava meu pai a vender as grades de metal para por em cima e ajustar as panelas nos buracos.
legal seus quinze anos aqui, não sei por quanto tempo mais o site resistirá. na internet tudo é efêmero.

Mis felicitaciones por esos 15 años en TE, me llevas un año de adelanto, una imagen muy original y casera con esa gran olla de barro, lo mas autentico en la cocina, los troncos ardiendo dan un gran realismo a la imagen.
Un color magnífico, que da a la imagen mucha riqueza cromática.
