Soybean is a plant whose cycle of life is very short, when the seeds are becoming mature the leaves become to die and few days after the plant is completely dry. Nowadays the farmers are using herbicides to do this process faster and to kill weeds and make the harvest easier. Here it was in a natural process.
Few meters behind me was one of the largest creeks of my municipality. Ahead we can see a volcanic mountain range, behind it there is another and behind me it was another and another, all of them running in parallel. These mountain ranges are around 100 or 200 km long and were created when the soil opened and the magma went up, this region is one of the largest concentration of these structures in the world. The top of these hills are usually covered with native forest because there are many rocks and in these places you can find cacti, a memory of the climate when this region was a semi-desert.

A soja é uma planta com um ciclo de vida bem curto, quando as sementes estão maduras a planta começa a morrer e em poucos dias estás completamente seca. Atualmente os agricultores usam herbicidas para apressar esse ciclo, matando as ervas daninhas que estão no meio da plantação e facilitando a colheita. Aqui a plantação estava em seu processo natural de fim de ciclo.
Atrás de mim estava um dos maiores ribeirões do município e mais adiante temos uma pequena serra, sendo que atrás de mim havia duas outras em paralelo e atrás dessa serrinha havia outra. Essas serrinhas tem uma extensão de cem a duzentos km e formam grupos lado a lado, sendo que as da nossa região são uma das maiores concentrações desse tipo de fissura no mundo. No passado o chão se abriu e o magma veio à tona para criá-las. Geralmente o topo dessas serrinhas é muito pedregoso e a mata cresce lá em cima e até podemos ver muitos cactus por lá, já que essas plantas são a memória do tempo em que nossa região era semi-árida.
