Photographer's Note
I was very far from the palace and I used my camera zoom to find this famous sculpture. Unfortunately the grass as covering part of them, but I guess you will be able to see them.
These sculptures were created by Alfredo Ceschiatti, the same who created the angels inside Brasilia Cathedral. Originally the name of them was "the Bathers" but soon the name was changed to IARAS. Brazilian mythology is very beautiful and vast. An IARA is an Indigenous divinity who live in the rivers of Brazil, in some aspects she looks like a mermaid, but in fact in the first mention to the legend, in the 16th century, the personage was masculine. These sculptures has classic mantles in the lower part, more Greek than Brazilian, but the name was changed, these two girls are taking care of their hairs after the bath.
Ceschiatti was a Brazilian, son of Italians, that became in love by art when visited Italy and decided to be an sculptor.
I will attach a link with a photo of these sculptures and you will have a chance to see how beautiful they are inside an island in the lake of the palace.

...............

Hi Jorge,
I would not be able to spot them in the previous wide photo.
Quite an original artwork. I like also the blue hour version in your link. Yes you would need to be able to get much closer to include the pond. Very well seen and captured,

Hello Jorge,
You very nicely zoomed in on those two works of art in front of the building. You managed good sharpness and clarity. The shapes of the building and especially the white part make a nice backdrop as well.

Hi Jorge,
The building is framing the sculptures. The point of view is showing the details of the sculptures Iara. The light is giving good colors rendering. Have a nice day.

Hello Jorge,
The sculptures are very unusual but I can certainly see how they could be girls dealing with their wet hair.
Besides the interesting sculptures, I like the b/g arrangement of colours and shapes, which create a useful but not distracting backcloth.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Jorge,
At first, I thought they were strange birds, but now I see the two girls working on their hair. Nice zoom work!
