Photographer's Note

During the early 60´s, Briggitte Bardot was a frequent costumer of Buzios, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. She had discovered and revealed that fishemen's village to the world and today the place is also developed for tourism.
In her honor, the local people had made this sculpture, inspired by her photography in the "Orla Bardot", name of the sidewalk around the beach "Praia da Armação", where every summer some cruiseships has been visiting.
Buzios is it still a fishermen's village, but today it is not that small undeveloped place.
