Participação especial no lindo pôr do sol proporcionado pela Piedra del Coyote! Quando o sol de põe, o céu ao lado contrário ao sol ganha um belíssimo tom rosado.

Muitos dizem que o nome real do Valle de la Muerte seria Valle de Marte, pela semelhança com a superfície do planeta vermelho. O que aconteceu é que o lugar foi descoberto por uma francês e devido ao seu sotaque carregado, quando pronunciava "Marte" muitos entendiam "Muerte".

Fantastic view of the valley. The light was magnificent here and the pastel colours in the sky are beautiful. I really like the foreground with the wonderful textures of the rocks and the dog is well included too.

Hello Luis,

THis is a wild and beautiful landscape, from the rocky f/g to the line of distant, snow=sprinkled mountains.
The pink sky adds a sense of a different world, maybe a moonscape!
What better way to emphasise the wildness by sharing the scene with an animal!

This is almost identical to the photo shown here earlier by Alexandre. But it's a beautiful scenery, the light is almost magic and the dog is very nice and perfectly placed, so I give it another green smiley. ;-)

Hello Luis,

The dog is the real eye catcher on this wonderful panorama view about the area.
The mountains in background are a soft contrast against the pink colours of the sunset.

Instead of a person you placed a dog on the foreground.
Lots of stray dogs in Chile but this one looks clean and well looked after.

pelo visto os cachorros de rua continuam proliferando na região. lembro de um que me perseguiu por muito tempo enquanto eu ia a pé do vale da lua até a cidade e de uma turista que estava rodeada por uns dez depois de ter se compadecido deles.linda foto, bem feita em todos os sentidos.

es interesante el origen del nombre de este valle, que nos explicas en tu nota.
El paisaje que nos ofreces en esta vista es inmenso, con la llanura salvaje y natural que se acaba en el horizonte con las montañas nevadas.
Los tonos rosados en el cielo a la puesta de sol son fantásticos y dan una gran sensación de calma. Y por supuesto, me gusta mucho la presencia de este compañero fiel en el primer plano.
