Photographer's Note
9:40 It was just about getting dark, when you're that far south, the daylight is just much longer in the spring time. Another shot of Torres del Paine, this one features the two mountains, Cuernos del Paine and Paine Grande. In between the two mountains is French Valley, there is one of the most scenic trail, mountains on two sides with a lake and streams along the trail.
Torres del Paine National Park is a Chilean National Park encompassing a mountains, glacier, lake, and river-rich area in southern Chile. The Cordillera del Paine is the centerpiece of the park. It lies in a transition area between the Magellanic subpolar forests and the Patagonian Steppes. The park is located 112 km north of Puerto Natales and 312 km north of Punta Arenas. Bernardo O'Higgins National Park is its neighbour to the west, while Los Glaciares National Park is located to the north in Argentine territory.

Hi Way,
As you already know, here in Az. the sun can't set fast enough during the summer...but I sure do miss those long days of sunlight!? The colors this sunset have provided are minimal, yet absolutely pristine for this setting. In fact, this is a scene where "less is more," you've presented this in a way that lets nature speak for herself. An impressive mountain range...it's rugged, sharp, and makes for a wonderful backdrop to the gentle plains and lonely house set in front. The compressed view really puts the different sizes into perspective, a lovely view over the landscape. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Friendly wishes,
Jason

Hello Way,
The tiny red house shows how large this beautiful landscape is. The low light is lovely and detail can still be seen in the grass. The pink tinge to the sky is perfect. A magnificent place very well photographed.

Superbe photo. La lumière matinale éclaire de jolie façon les sommets et la petite maison colorée est la cerise sur le gâteau de la très belle composition.

Another jaw dropping shot from deep south! what an amazing spectacle of a very calming super low light shot yet so powerful with very natural colouration. Wonderful recession of tones in the sky which adds to the sense of huge scale and distance, and great too that so much to be seen in the shadowed area in the foreground that you did so well with the exposure. The areas make this so stunning; the orange pinkish tone on the horizon and the solid snow peaks. and that solitude house in the mid of nowhere seems so small against this natural elements. Another topnotch so subtly taken & for sharing.
Best regards

Hi Way,
so much expanse in this photo one can almost feel the peace and quieteness of this place disturbed maybe only by the wind. The mountains on the second plan are magnificent and frame the photo in natural way. The single red house create some interest in the central part of the composition and make it more complete. Very suggestive colors and superb sharpness.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice Sunday!

Hello Way,
That is a marvelous photo. The red house provides such a good sense of scale about the size of this vast land and those mountains in the BG. Mesmerizing sscenery so well captured and presented. I love the natural light and colours on this photo specially the little bit of orange on the right. Thanks for sharing an excellent photo.

Hello Way,
The light of the title is an obvious feature of this photo, but the composition wouldn't be the same without the two jagged peaks and - even more so - the red cottage. There is not much left of any evening light in the foreground, which to my mind has given this large plain area fantastic tones of subdued green.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Way
Beautiful light, beautiful place. I can't imagine living there, despite the impressive scenery. How far is this house from the next habitation, and indeed from the nearest shop, pub, etc.?? Sorry, it really is an amazing landscape!

Ciao NBF
Wow look at that little cottage out there in the wilderness all alone. It really evokes the sentiment that this plains are so huge desolate and unpopulated. It really is the end of the Earth. Love the bluish tinge and that hint of pink which I often see in your photos. Gee you really do get around, friend. Thanks for sharing this magical place with us.
Warmest wishes

Hello Way,
I remember very well the photo “Spring in Patagonia” and the more shots I see from your trip, the more the landscape enthralls me. This looks like a place that should be on my 'wish list'. A stunning landscape where your composition, colors and contrast showcase its uniqueness. The composition where the little cottage plays an important role is also excellent. Congratulation!
Warm regards
Harriet

Hello Way,
This is a beautiful rugged landscape.
The snow peaks in the blue sky tell us that the temperatures are definitely low. At the grassland in the foreground we can see that it's very windy there.
And then we discover two small red houses (or a house and a barn), like a haven of warmth and a good shelter in the inhospitable landscape. The red facades make them visible from miles away.
A wonderful nature picture, excellently executed.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Way,
This area is so wild, even if there is a network of roads and accommodation it still remains so far away from the civilization and your picture well illustrates it. I like the lone house in the middle of nowhere with spectacular mountains in the back. Beautiful low light resulting in extraordinary mood.
Excellent work,
M

Another stunning shot! The pastel light creates an ethereal scene where the giant peaks dwarf the landscape and the small red house seems to epitomize how small everything else is...
Delightful!
