Burning skies, boiling river in red, a photo from Central, South

Photographer's Note

I went this afternoon to Villeta city, to the river.
The sky was amazing, we were there just before the sun went down the horizon.

The whole landscape turned red and yellow, it was amazing.
The clouds were burning,
I played a little bit with the Minolta in manual mode, and I got a lot of pics that I will post later on.

What you see floating on the river are "camalotes", water plants.

No changes made to the picture, only cropping and resizing to fit TE standards.

Ps.: There is plenty of orange in the pic, so this goes for the hunt.

Nice shot! I'm just waiting for something to appear out of the water. A crocodile? Are there anacondas there too?

Great sunset colours and nice picture, I think that you should try to 'put' the sun not in the center of the frame.

Muy buena imagen. ¿Se veía así realmente o es el resultado que dio la cámara? A mi me sucede que el resultado final siempre está diferente —más saturado— de lo que originalmente estava una escena así, claro, en película fotográfica, como por ejemplo en esta foto.
Sólo negro y naranja hacen una muy buena imagen, y justo has 'capturado' al sol en el punto más bajo de la silueta de los árboles.

What a beautiful picture! The light, framing, and colors all compliment one another beautifully. As for the sun center vs off-center, I think the center works here because it helps keep the light equal all around, especially since the reflection is adding some symmetry.

Lovely image with great colouring, if you haven't used a filter then its even more amazing.
