Caribbean Taxi Stand, a photo from Soufriere, South

Photographer's Note

A couple of water taxis anchored off of the dock just north of Soufriere. Along the Southern coast of St Lucia, water taxis, small multi-colored fishing boats with outboard motors, are the easiest way to get from beach to beach because the roads are incredibly windy and slow due to the extremely mountainous coast.

Bonjour Colin,
une scène très calme et remplie de belles lumières;
Elle est très bien cadrée avec les barques rejetées en bas à droite.
Un peu de surexposition sue la droite.

Hi Colin!

Postcard, no, what am I saying, much better than one.

The lush green and the blue are depicted to perfection. I assume the downside to that was having to put up with a slightly blown upper right corner.

The lights are not easy, but you did a great work, well capturing this beautiful scenery, with that famous mountain of St.Lucia as a great interesting point behind the foreground boats. Well taken!
