Photographer's Note

The city of Grevenas is built in high 534 m. Easternly V. Pindos, in the banks of Grebeniti, tributary of Aliakmona.
The clock, signal of deposited city, is built in the square of Freedom in the centre of city. It has form of pentagon, with length of side 2 m. and his total height exceeds the 20 m. In sign we read that "It was built in 1906, rebuild 1969&. It is from the few buildings in the city from the season of Ottoman domination and before the release it functioned as department of Turkish pane. In his interior, that is empty, exists circular scale, which leads to perimetric veranda little before the top. Afterwards the veranda they are raised arch that supports one conical cupola, in the base of which are incorporated big plates of clock, connected with a bell.
