Photographer's Note
On the weekend I went for a day trip to the skiing resorts of Valle Nevado. I think the drive up there wa sno longer than 1h to 1.5h from Los Condes. So it's quite close. People should be aware that you can go up only until 1pm. After that you are only allowed to go down again.
I only know the skiing areas of Europe likle les Deux Alpes or les Trois Valles so it was a very "interesting" experience to see a different skiing resort. I have to admit that it seems to be much more enjoyable to go skiing in Chile than in France or Switzerland. The ski slopes are nearly empty! It's amazing. Unfortunatly, I didn't have time to go skiing but I bet it must be incredible.
This shot was taken from the car. So you can see some refelctions in the sky from the window. But I think only if you really knew. The pol filter did a proper job here :-)

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for sharing this beautiful photo of Valle Nevado. We were going to visit this beautiful region on February 28 but unfortunately the earthquake on the 27th prevented us from doing so. We we afraid that bridges might collapse due to aftershocks.
Regards,
Paul
