But where are the beautiful green colors from your previous Nikon's photographs. No, No, I tease you, Mohammad ;)) More seriously, congratulation for your new camera. About ours previous dialogue, I think it's the best choice (latest technology and a perfect 8M pixels resolution for a 300ppi quality on an A4 format). About the shot, the light is perfectly managed, giving here a neat and clear rendering. The bird is nicely "frozen" in the air and positioned on a strong point in the shot. Nice play of alternate strips between water and ground. The whole is nicely composed. What is your first impression about the EOS 20D?

Strips of blue water in a sea of drying reeds.
The problem with us human is, we thought we could fly. We thought we could have a second chance. We assumed we could do better. But all of these, is just our imagination. Looking around, we are much worst than our ancestors. At least they could breathe cleaner, and died sooner. We breath dark air, and suffer longer.
Thank you for making me think. A good photo always make me think. Happy New Year Mohammad and May God Helps us all.

good contrast between white bird and blue water with good DOF. If the grass becomes green with your touch then it would be more contrasting.

what i like most here on this one are two things: perspective with excellent dof, and the simplicity of the colours - you played only just with the two of them and it does work
