Fighting for light III, a photo from Beer Sheva, Southern

Photographer's Note

This shot is taken on the road side on the way to Park Timna.
Some of the sun rays can be seen passing through the dark clouds. Few rain drops were falling at the time. But… eventually the sun did win that day. By afternoon the dark clouds left and it became sunny.

Beautiful shot, Efi. The sunrays are very delicate and the clouds are great. I think that the lower part of the tree has too little contrast with the soil. Perhaps a lower point of view would make the sky the background for a larger part of the tree.

Amaizing atmosphere , with beautifull colors and excelent sharpness.I like how the ray flow thru the clods eye.It's like Unreal atmosphere :).

Very interesting mood for a very nice composition. Great contrast and light and very good DOF. I like both the foreground tree and the mountains progressively vanishing in the background. Really good shot !

Very powerful image. Not only by the strong sky, which not even the small sun rays disguise but by the contrary enhance, but also by the desolation we feel by looking at it. The sterile rocky plane, the lonely tree and the only element in the horizon being mountains does not appease us but give a feeling of being lost.
Very good composition, with the elements well placed in the composition and a nice PP.

A rare moment in the desert that shows how pretty arid areas can be. Too bad your wide angle has such bad abberation that tilts the left side, but then real pro level wide angle lens cost an arm and a leg.

Le ciel de ta photo est superbe!
J'aime aussi beaucoup ta composition simple, avec un arbre seul, isolé au milieu de d’une étendue vierge. J’aime aussi le fait que tu laisse ici une large part à ce très beau ciel. C'est très bien fait, bravo!
