Photographer's Note

I have taken this shot at Dakkhineswar Ghat near Dakkhineswar Temple in the beautiful evening....This I took from the steps approaching the Ghats.I had to move up and down the steps till I got this image...One of the famous temples devoted to Goddess Kali in Eastern India. The temple is situated beside the river Ganges which shaped the Indian Geology religion, life and philosophy. Life around the river is an instant mix of the past and the present.
The temple compound, apart from the nine-spired main temple, contains a large courtyard surrounding the temple, with rooms along the boundary walls. There are twelve shrines dedicated to Shiva—Kali's companion—along the riverfront, a temple to Radha-Krishna, a bathing ghat on the river, a shrine dedicated to Rani Rashmoni. The chamber in the northwestern corner just beyond the last of the Shiva temples, is where Ramakrishna spent a considerable part of his life.

I see here a nice contrast image with the pink sun high to the sky.
Sharpness and clarity are pleasant for look at.
Perfect taken with excellent colors and a specially boat in foreground

Hi Madhu...
like the framing by the sailing boat on the golden tone Ganges river...like the reddish tone of the image...only the sun portion slight burnt out...
but this is a V good shot with nice sharpness & good exposure Controlled...

Hello madhumita. If I remember correctly, you have deleted a photo. But now you can show another photo of the same scene with the boat in the middle. The overall composition is thus more convincing. a nice capture. The composition is nice though I think if you captured it a few seconds earlier keeping the boat a bit left in the frame it would be better. Anyway it is also a nice one which I liked a lot for such romantic colour tone. An excellent one. Tfs.

the view of the sunset is dreamily with the vertical format to creates depth in the image.The passing by boat between the reflection of the sun, makes it more effective.

Another very successful image from your impressive gallery, the overall colour rendition of the image has become even stronger, thus the impression that the photo gives us is even more memorable. I particularly like the ring or halo around the sun. In the sunset view, however there remains a powerful and an intense presence of the setting sun. The golden path and the passing boat are very nicely captured and presented. The distribution of each layer has also become more refined. It has gained more stability. And the presentation of the overall image is admirable. I feel very relieved and feel the healing energy. Thank you for this image.
