Photographer's Note
This is one of Ottawa's parlamentary buildings. I concluded my 2003 canadian trip with the visitation of this city. As with the previous days, we were pretty fortunate with the weather and were greeted by a clear day and snow covered streets and squares.
I think that the uniform and clear sky add to the affect of the building being set against a completely white background (with the snow on the bottom and the sky on the top).
Let me know what you think about the photo. I'd appreciate some constructive criticism.

Very interesting colours, textures and patterns. Perhaps a point of view could have been found to where some foreground interest could have been added?.

You present a perfect combination between the subject -the building- and the context -the white background, grey-white sky and earth covered with snow !
What attracts the viewer is the strong contrast first then the very interesting colors of the building !
The human presence enriches the pictures, helps to compare and understand the real dimensions and adds some warmth to the cold winter atmosphere.
Very good composition Dmitriy !
See you again on Trek
