Photographer's Note
Coja is a pretty village in the municipality of Arganil in the district of Coimbra.
Surrounded by crystal clear river Alva, the village is called the Princess of Alva, and is situated in a place blessed by nature of the Mountain of Açor and the fresh river air.
It is a very remote village of origin, with traces of Roman occupation and Muslim, here attracted by the fertility of soils and mineral exploration.
