Photographer's Note

In this photo taken during our pleasant meeting with our friends Marianne and Marc, I tried to catch the incredible shapes created by Gaudí in the House Batlló, as this sort of a back of one dragoon.
The perspective created by this structure, which leads our look towards the moon in the sky, is like a graphical allegory, very suitable for the hope in a NEW YEAR FULL OF HAPPINESS, OF HEALTH, OF WELL-BEING AND OF PEACE, for all the TE friends.

Una fantástica alegoría para finalizar es 2012 y desearnos todo lo mejor...en estos momentos que vivímos es cierto que parece que estémos montados en la cola de un dragón, pero seamos positivos, como tu imagen...y pensemos que es un dragón dorado cuyas curvas se elevan cada vez más...hasta perderse en el cielo!!

Te deseo un 2013 cargado de buenos viajes, de buenas fotos, de amistad y familia, de salud...quién sabe...a lo mejor este es el año en que nos conocemos!! ;)

Hola amigos mios.
Un año mas en esta gran familia finalizando un año y esperando la llegada del siguiente.
Muy hermosa y original imagen, la que has elegido como felicitacion, esta arquitectura tan especial crea aqui una imagen como irreal... un ensueño... los tonos de color con estos dorados y anaranjados son fantasticos y con ese azul tan bonito del cielo, completa una imagen de gran belleza, el detalle de la luna es una preciosa alegoria del paso de la noche al dia y viceversa.
Querido amigos os deseo la mayor felicidad y salud, para este Nuevo Año y que lo disfruteis a tope con esa maravillosa familia que teneis.

An amazing shot full of subtle light and colours, nicely framed to yield a more peaceful rendition of the scene. Immense detail, textures but the full moon is so impressive showing superb glow of light symbolizes the hope for a new happier future for our world. It is this newness that allows us to make the world a better place, a very symbolic image fitting, beautifully crafted and full of meaning.

It shines out and it draws us in.

and i agree about your thoughts of this being the back of a Dragon :)

Its the time of the day you clicked this shot, which creates a fine image with lovely warm colours on the sculpture as contrasting with the blue sky. The moon, though small, creates a good focal point. I like the way the perspective is created by the sweeping curve all the way up. Fine work!

beautiful and so creative composition of this extraordinary roof. I had a pleasure to visit it but it was so crowded with people it was hard to take any picture at all. Great colors incredible atmosphere.
