Photographer's Note

Slavonski Brod is a small provincial town in northeast of Croatia along the Sava.
The river is the natural border between Croatia and Bosnia.
The 2 cities, Slavonski Brod and Bosanski Brod, are connected by a bridge.

Croatian side, just on the edge of downtown, the river is dotted with floating platforms supporting small chalets or caravans, what to spend a nice weekend for urban dwellers of Slavonski Brod.

Hi Pascale,
A really perfect summer house, floating on this peaceful lake! I have never seen anything like this before, it looks like a very pleasant way to spend a holiday. A very god and interesting picture!

Looks like a perfect place for a perfect vacation. well taken.. The tree makes a good framing effect. Good clarity, color and sharpness.

Dear Pascale, thank you for sharing this photo. I've just spent two years living in a caravan on the Wild Coast of South Africa and just got back to 'civilization' this week. I'm going to miss that life very much. This photo is good to remind me that there are other people totally living on the 'wild side' and that if you believe, your dreams can come true! A very special photo indeed...

Hi Pascale. I love this unassuming houseboat/caravan thing. The light is delightful and so is the elevated POV.The leaves form a delicate partial curtain. Lovely. Regards. Klaudio.
