Salford Quays, once a thriving port. Now we have a shopping outlet, cinemas, theatre, apartments and just recently the BBC and ITV have moved their studios here as well in Media City.
Being a proud Salfordian i have listed the state as Lancashire as that was where we were till boundary changes put us in Greater Manchester which is not in T.E.,s list of States. Manchester is a City in it's own right and Salford is a City of it's own right and not part of Manchester.

Hi Arnie,
It looks like UK was having its share of gloomy days as Turkey was a week or so ago. Nice frontal view of this former port. I am sure it would be very pleasant to visit on a sunny day.
