McLeod Ganj is a small town with an elevation of more than 6000 feet. It was named after Donald Friell McLeod, the British Lieutenant-Governor in the times of British Raj in India.
Presently, the seat of Tibetan Government In Exile, the town has a unique charm with the Tibetan monks & colorful streets.
