Photographer's Note

This was taken in St Aubin, Jersey. I was attracted by the colours of the buildings. Taken with a wide angle lens I tried correcting the verticals but preferred it leaning so left it as taken.

St Aubin is a small port in Jersey and once a fishing village. There are some quaint streets and houses and a lovely place to walk around. The Channel Islands are off the coast of Normandy (France) and British Crown Dependencies. Jersey is the most populated of the Channel Islands. The climate is generally mild due to their situation and Gulf Stream. They are about 40-50 minutes by plane from Gatwick airport and make a great destination for a short break anytime of the year.
