Photographer's Note

This was taken in the morning after spending a highly recommended evening in a great introduction to the plains, Little America hotel / truck stop. The picture was taken from Highway 130 that goes south from Interstate 80; west of Laramie,to Saratoga. Route 130 is a beautiful little two lane road in the fall; it goes through Centennial and you can go east over snowy range road / Medicine Bow and into Laramie or continue south west towards valley of the aspens. A word of caution: donít go too late in the fall; Laramie is a great place to get stuck in a blizzard but not Saratoga. The Carl Zeiss lens on the Sony R! is a fixed zoom but it racks out to 24 mm which is great and you can screw a polarizer on it like i did here and because it is a waist level view finder like a hasselblad; it is perfect for composing landscape shots.
