This is one more picture taken in the park of Lijiang near the lake. These old guys are playing for hours, so busy, not even taking notice of my huge tele lens... A great place to stay connected and enjoy the warm winter sun.

Great close-up portrait of these card-players. You can very well see the intensity they put into their game.
I have added as WS a similar photo taken in China Town, NYC, but not of such good quality I am afraisd.

My kind of scene! Some great characters performing their relaxed daily life ritual. An excellent capture from Lijiang, but it could be anywhere in China really.

Hello Peter,
I like such glimpses from inside the crowds. People engaged in some kind of activity without noticing the photographer, or not being bothered. A short moment of daily life.
