Sleeping Dragon Sunset, a photo from Rethimno, Crete

Photographer's Note

The promontory to the left reminds me a little of a dragon lying sleeping in the sea. This was taken from a small town on the Southern coast of Western Crete, I believe called Plakias.

Nice colours but the picture is a bit tilted. I would try to crop the top a bit to make it more panoramic. I like the flare effect.

I'm seeing a huge amount of grain in the shot... more than is optimal for sure. The grain makes the colors look muddier than I think they were in life. I do, however, love the way the sun is spreading it's rays from the hump of the mountain, if only you didn't have the spots of red from getting the light right on your lens! Ken is right about the tilt, please correct it. (Use the ruler and rotate canvas in PShop).
