The 34 year old Austrian, Hannes Arch is a member of the absolute, extreme sports elite in the world. When he was 16 years old, Arch already held an Austrian special pilot’s license and has since then devoted himself to the sport of hang-gliding. At 19 Hannes Arch is a state approved mountain and ski guide, at 23 his name was already to be found amongst the best mountaineers and climbers in Austria. During his study of sports sciences at Graz University, Arch was already working as a lecturer on sports climbing in the same university.

Dear Lukas, good note. I really wonder if the picture was taken with both hands at the cam. btw it looks like you really had nothing else to do there :) You handled sun and shadow very good too.

I really don't quite understand what is going on in this photo, but that is part of its appeal I think. The mytery, yet somewhat obvious danger, together with some odd angles and his foot (how could that not be noticed), make this a very intriguing shot. A very interesting and different shot to be certain.
