Photographer's Note

Seahorses live in pairs, and when breeding, the females deposits her eggs in the male's brood pouch. The male hatches and takes care of their young until they are ready to live independently... call it paternal care.

These lovely creatures are seen not very often today as they are poached being an alleged potent aphrodisiacs and medicine.

Seahorses has a vital role in the marine ecosystem, its loss will be our loss as well.
