Ceylon tomatoes resemble a miniature pumpkin. While waiting for the season of harvests, it was a pleasure to observe green fruits in the garden, and espescially this one, the prettiest while growing.

Several praise the merits of its taste, but personally, it is the one I liked the less. It is slightly bitter and acid at the same time. I achieve to get fruits with almost no trace of bitterness by letting mature the fruit until excess on the seedling, though... The Ceylon tomato is from Sri Lanka.

This is the second tomato photo I post here, and it gave me the idea to start a theme on that, reuniting tomatoes from all around the world :)
