Photographer's Note
To get to a picturesque waterfall in an area called Finca Paraiso, we had to hike along the stream downstream from the falls. I snapped this shot of an indigenous woman doing the laundry in the stream. It was a strong reminder of the stark contrasts of life in the capital with all the modern conveniences and life in the country side.
