Photographer's Note

I had difficulty to choose a title for this picture. Maybe I'll change it after your inputs. It is another view of the Portuguese Communists' festival, the Festa do Avante!, in Amora. In my other post (The Old Communist) I presented the old, tired militant. Today, another old communist and her older mother, proudly showing off the mandatory red neckerchief, they are astonished to see their festival "invaded" by new hairdos.
The old revolutionaries became conservative and the new revolutionaries shock the old ones.
I don't remember and didn't realize very well how it happened this point-and-shot picture. I guess the old ladies gossiped to each other about those hairdos; the young couple heard the chatter and responded in a friendly way, but the dialogue was short. The young people enjoyed much more the brief encounter than the old ladies.
For more information about the Portuguese Communist Party and their festival, please go to my other post (link above).
I'm calling these boys as "revolutionaries", but I don't know them. Most people that go to this festival are not communists nor revolutionaries. The young go there for the music. The older ones go also for the food and other types of music.
