Photographer's Note
This is the Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, I believe the world's largest Mosque - one of my favourite buildings. I was more excited to see this than the Taj Mahal!
I wanted to create something different when photographing this beautifu building - not just a straight architectual shot. I asked the boy in the foreground to run through the flock of pigeons so they would fly upwards, away from the building. It was a nice coinsidence that he was positioned in the doorway. This effect achieved, to me, looks like angels flying out of the Mosque.
I hope you enjoy the photo!

Hi Anthony
You succeded in getting the effect that you wanted, emphasizes by the slow speed.
I must admit that I am a little disturbed by the crooked building.
A very good idea .
Have a good week

I like it a lot Anthony. A lot. A creative way of showing the Jama Masjid, that makes this photo to stand out from the crowd. You did very well in asking the boy to run. Not only because of the gracious flight of the birds, but also because the photo now have a good story. The boy running add another layer, if I may say, to an already good photo. The tils? In fact, I think I like it!
Though the Mosque is very beautiful in itself, it is what you did with it that makes me stop and critique. Big applause from me.

Zdravo Ante. Izgleda da sam zakasnio komplimentima. Sve su ves rekli sto ima da se kazhe. Nije mi chudno da pokazhesh tvoju kreativnu i poetichku stranu. I kako sam ti kazhesh, arhitekturne slike imaju obichaj da izgledaju nekeko mrtve.Ova je puna zhivota i simbolizma. Bravo Ante. Pozdrav. Klaudio.

Anthony, I really like the way you have captured this building. The light has been handled extremely well as it could easily have gone to silhouette. The slow shutter has helped the blurring of the birds. Great shot and TFS. Paul.

Wow, what a photo! You've achieved a stunning take on one of your favorites!! I'm very impressed with the "angels", the energy of the child, the preserved individuality of each of the human figures in the mid-ground, and the warmish light radiating from behind the mosque. A memorable photo!! Thanks!

This is amazing Anthony!!
I love the effect, and the light this time of day was perfect for a longer exposure to create the slightly blurred effect.
The slight tilt is also quite good, makes it look very dynamic.

Hi Anthony,
The idea is extra-ordinary here. Looking into the mosque with the pigeons flying all over the place is not a new concept, but the snap has got all its drama with the slow shutter speed effect and the unothodox POV.
