I've croped out some unnecesarry space and changed colours a little in a workshop.

Really nice photo, I prefer the original, simple, effective and striking. The only thing I would have done is clone out the small disabled sign on the top right

Great, you achieved what I didn't when I saw the same thing in Genève! Apart from the chess and the man I like texture of the background, it harmonizes the whole picture in some way...

Sonia-nice shot. However, I would agree with Olli...black and white works much better with this photo because of the chess pieces. I will try a workshop and let you know what I mean.
