Photographer's Note

Danube is Europe's second longest river (Longest is Volga). It crosses 10 countries from Germany to Romania, its length is 2850 km. As flowing through Budapest, Hungary's capital, it splits into to arms: the main arm and Ráckeve arm (RSD), surrounding Csepel island. Since this arm is blocked with flood gates at both ends, it behaves much like a lake.

In the last 3 years I've been taking shots around RSD, to put together a collection that introduces this area. This is one of the favourites taken there.

Hi Szabolcs,
Very beautiful capture of the sunset. I like the idea of putting the silhouetted grass as the foreground. I think it really made the picture stands out. The man with his dog is well framed. Very nice golden light outlining the silhouettes. For me, however, i'd move the subjects a bit to the left of the picture. Thanks for sharing.

The combination of colors between the sun and the wharf is great.This a wonderful shot,very nice exposure and excellentcomposition.

Hello Szabolcs,
A great shot of this man fishing with it's dog ... the angle and POV is very well chosen and gives a refreshing feeling of discovering through the grass. The colors of the very golden brown light is great.

Egy jó ideje kerülgetem ezt a képet, mely egyben az egyetlen a TE-n a Lacház-i üdülőpatról. Édesapám élt itt télen-nyáron idén márciusig, úgy hogy itt volt tulajdonképpen a második otthonom. Most a házának és telkének résztulajdonosa lettem...sajnos. Ebben a csodálatos látványban is számtalanszor volt részem. Nagyon jó a kompozíció és ami egyedi az az, hogy a növényzeten keresztül kaptad lencsevégre, amolyan gerillaharcos módjára. Gratulálok a Soroksári Dunaág-ról készült fotógyűjteményhez! Nagyon szépek a képek, beleértve természetesen ezt is.
