Photographer's Note

This was one of those moments when a backup camera is a good thing especially when you are doing outdoor photography.

The trail was muddy and slippery. So slippery that even the much touted Vibram soles couldn't get a grip on. And another good reason why a weatherproof camera is such a good thing to have, beside just being a cool feature.

The clay mud was grainy and watery and probably would have spelt the end of the K10D, if not for its weather sealing feature. To add salt to the injury, there wasn't any clean water to wash off the mud from the soiled K10D except the muddy water from a puddle.

After washing off the mud with the muddy water and wiping it off dry, the K10D is back to shooting again.
