Photographer's Note

I am back from Mardin and its vicinity, where I was during the last three days. No internet,no E Mails, no phones, only photography, depending a bit on the weather which changed many times . It was gorgeous morning on my second day, and I chose the famous Zinciriye Medresseh ( "Zincir" means chain in Turkish ) which has been elegantly restored during the past two years. But the picture of Zinciriye, and old Coranic School, dating fromn the 13th century, is best taken from the hill nearby, and the hill is not an easy one to reach, very steep , where even goats would have a hard time to get there. Nevertheless I am sure that ALL photographgers would risk to climb for the great views( And get down later on )
