Photographer's Note

I walk up high hills
And seek moments of silence,
But I only know,
Something inside me hurts.
It cant be that I laugh,
Or smile, for reasons unknown,
It cant be that I cry,
For that something is still unknown...

THe B&W is a good idea to get more contrasts in the picture. Well done!

merhaba korkut,
most beautyful photo...
good exploration of geometry znd simplicity...
i like the way you used high contrast which resulted in "enhancing" the graphism of the lines and "silhouetting" the by-passer...
no need to mention in the note that this image is not tilted - the walking man is an obvious evidence of this fact...by the way - an interesting effect with that "like-tilted" impression...
best wishes, j.

Her an her yerde cekebilmen cok buyuk sans. Senin srl almana bence hic gerek yok, o makineyle dehset isler cikartiyorsun. Tebrikler, gercekten cok guzel olmus.

I don't know how you do it, but you do it great, I really like your architecture shots, the perspective, the power of the lines, sepia toning, does this place really exists? :)
The strong point of your photo is the man leaving from your scene.
I don't know what else to say, I simply add this one to my favorites!
Congratulations!

Hi Korkut!
I like your boat shots of course, but I think that you deploy your photographic strength even better when you focus on other subjects. Like this one for example. The spice in your soup, which makes it so delicious, is this guy of course, walking so hastily through your frame.
This time its my turn to ask you your own question: Is this building really beautiful or is it you who make it look that way? At least on your photo this shopping mall seems to be really interesting in respect of its architecture. Btw: I doubt that they would be able to build something like this in degenerated Greece, since the lack of creativity is not limited only to new churches.
Cheers

One have to climb over roofs to get to the mall? :))) Should I pick randomly any image from your fantastic gallery, since I love them all? The isolation of a single human sillouette in a surreal abstract space can be one of my favorite themes for artistic photography, so I choose this one. Thanks for sharing your fascinating work, Korkut.

Hi Korkut,
The way the angles and lines work here is stunning .. almost disorienting .. the color adds a wonderful mood and interacts with the near emptiness in a wonderful way .. the position of him in the frame .. almost finished crossing the frame ... almost completing his journey .. is what really strikes me .. very nice.
take care,

Hello Korkut,
Your gallery and this picture are typically what we were arguing with a friend about the future of picture. The only way to succed in photography is to create Art. You've done that. It is very interesting to composed this kind of picture with a human crossing the camera field.
Thanks you very much for this breath you bring in photography,
