Beautiful colors indeed, great contrast of the leaves against the sky. Nice composition, too.

A strong contrast between the blue colour of the sky and the tones palette of these trees. THe close centring is original and well done to focus on the beautiful colours of the branches and the background with these dark mountains increase the overall contrast .Very well done !

Super shot Kurt. The only thing that I'd probably crop is the house at the bottom right part of the frame. It would just trim a few branches of the tree, but I think that it would make a cleaner presentation.

Kurt,
Nice photo, good contrast. You might want to rotate the photo slightly clockwise to make the trees a little straighter. The photo could also use a little bit of sharpening. What I normally do is initially sharpen a scanned image in PS by picking the Sharpen|Sharpen filter option. Then I fade that by a given % until I think that it looks OK. Then when I'm all finished I pick Sharpen|Unsharpen Mask and use that to *polish* it off depending upon if it's going to be printed or viewed. There are a number of techniques for using Unsharpen Mask...too many to really discuss here. But it would really help polish off your images. You have a good eye and are able to get the right exposure. This would make the difference in your images.

I like the composition and especially the beautiful colours. I'd like to see the image in bigger size (as well as your other shots), so that the details would be clearer.
