Photographer's Note

I can't remember where this was taken, I think it might have been somewhere near Oban on the Scottish west coast (couldn't find Argyll in the State list). There are some beautiful places there. The Lochs are stunning at this time of day. Next time I plan to head right up to the Northern coast.

A nice balanced composition. The mirror effect makes the shot for me. The boats on the left are compensated by the threes on the right and the colours set just the right atmosphere.
Would crop the black areas in the water though...

outstanding composition, the fact that u can see the full reflection of the poles is great.this picture seem to have minor defects.. some noise in the background and a blown out area on the top left.nevertheless
I love it.

Great reflections! And since this was taken against the light, I think you get credit for managing to set the right exposure. The light is amazing and the composition contributes to making it look very peaceful indeed. I makes me want to see the place.

An incredible picture with beautiful colour effects, was this how it was seen, or was it tweaked in photoshop? either way it doesn't matter, lovely.

Wow! fantastic. How a simple subject such as boats on a like can turn out into an astonishing picture. The sky is fabulous with the sunrays on the mountains, the boats are clear and sharp as they can get, the reflection in the water is marvelous. Do I see a little tilt of the shore to the left ? No, it must be my imagination. Really splendid.

Les deux lignes verticales apportent toute la force dans cette photo. La lumière joue un grand rôle. La composition est excellente.
