Photographer's Note
I don't know...it's the city at night. Nothing too crazy, just concrete and asphalt and bodies layered upon each other. If I close my eyes, I can hear the voice of this city...the music, the random clatter of sound that makes up the lives of these inhabitants. Not a distinct conversation, but a confusing mix of words and noise flooding and receding like waves feeling the sand and coming back to feel again.

"Bodies layered upon each other"? Is the crime rate that bad now in DC?
Nice B/W work. I like the high contrast, but with detail plentiful in the man's face, where it counts. He looks like the ghost of a younger Henry Kissinger! What was lighting his face so nicely? Regards, Ken.

Hello Christopher,
excellent atmospheric city image. The man has a characterful face too and a head of hair to be proud of...where did heget those curls? And his claw like hand, expressive of his thoughts? Good note too that compliments the image well.
